From bare stud or cracked wall to paint-ready
A drywall finish that stays invisible once it's painted is built in the prep and the coats. Here's the sequence we follow.
Assess
We look at what's really going on (a surface crack, a leak that needs fixing first, or a wall to build out) and scope the right fix before we start.
Hang or cut in
New drywall is hung square and fastened right; for a repair, we cut back to sound material so the patch has something solid to tie into.
Tape & mud
Seams are taped and built up through several coats of mud, each sanded flat, so the joints vanish instead of telegraphing through the paint.
Texture
We match the existing texture and feather it into the surrounding wall or ceiling so the repair reads as part of the original surface.
Prime & hand off
The surface is primed and left genuinely paint-ready, and because we paint too, we can carry it straight through to finished color.

Do you handle small drywall repairs or only whole rooms?
Both. We patch a single water stain, a cracked corner, or a doorknob hole just as readily as we hang and finish drywall for a whole room or remodel. Small repairs are a natural part of prepping a room for paint, so they often fold right into a painting job. Tell us what you're seeing and we'll scope the right fix.
Can you match my existing wall or ceiling texture?
Yes. Texture matching is one of the details that makes a repair disappear. We read the existing pattern, whether it's a knockdown, orange peel, or hand-troweled finish, and feather the new texture into the surrounding surface so the patch blends in once it's primed and painted rather than standing out as a smooth spot.
Do you paint after the drywall work is done?
Yes, and it's usually the smart way to do it. Because we're a full-service painting shop, we can hang and finish the drywall, prime it, and roll on the finish coats as one seamless job, so you're not coordinating separate trades. Interior painting and drywall pair naturally, especially through the winter when both are indoor work.
Can you remove a popcorn ceiling and refinish it smooth?
Yes. We scrape off dated popcorn texture, skim-coat the ceiling flat, and refinish it smooth or apply a modern texture, then prime it so it's ready for paint. It's dusty work, so we mask and protect the room first. Winter is a popular time for it, since the crew is already working indoors and the ceiling can go straight into a fresh interior repaint.
